He was predeceased by: his parents, Mellen Pierce and Dorothy Pierce (Boynton). He is survived by: his wife Clara J. Pierce (Morgan); his children, Chris Pierce (Jolene) of Hampden, Kerri Pierce-Meyerowitz (Don) of Springfield and Kelly Pierce-Seeley of Eugene, Oregon; his stepdaughters, Beth Fontes of Santa Rosa and Karen Lacy of Turner; and his sisters, Sue Pierce of Lady Lake and Mary Ann Brown of Georgia. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
