He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Madore and Leona Madore (Murray); his wife Ruth Thorpe; his parents-in-law, William and Audrey Thorpe (Whitney); and his siblings, Annette Ross (Madore), Nadine Buckingham (Madore), Arline Bradshaw (Madore), Henry Madore Jr. and Ronald Madore, Sr..
He is survived by: his children, Amy Cyr (Robert DiFrederico) of Millinocket and Jeffrey Madore (Michelle) of Stafford, Virginia.; his granddaughters, Katelyn Audrey Davis (Matthew) of Durham, Abigail Spencer Cyr of Durham, Maya Beth and Emma Louise Madore of Stafford, Virginia.; his siblings, Jacqueline Sopko (Fred) of Hillsborough, Marie Miller (Madore) of Garnerville and Arnold Madore (Patricia) of Millinocket; his son-in-law John Cyr of Millinocket; and his friends, Jon MacDonald, Keith Beaupain, John, Joanna McVey, Jack Hart, Dan Daley, Francis Menu, Martin, Lynn Landry, Linda Boyd (Lepage) and Bonnie Malcolm (Blake). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Katahdin Area Support Group or the Alzheimer's Association.
