He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph O. Tardy and Christie M. Tardy (Thibodeau); his sister Zola Pelkey (Jack); his nephew Michael Pelkey; and his sister-in-law Marsha Northway.

He is survived by: his wife Claudette P.; and his children, Daniel Tardy, Christian Jandreau (Mark), Shellie Brown (Michael), Shawn Tardy (Stacy Jean), Paul Tardy (Jennifer) and Jude Tardy (Ange). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
