He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Theodore McCafferty, Sr. and Evelyn Katherine McCafferty (Kilbride); his wife Ione Susie Burke; and his siblings, Vivian and Richard.
He is survived by: his children, Dale F. McCafferty (Ann), Pamela Sue Wotton and Brian E. McCafferty (Beth); his grandchildren, Danielle Schaub, Tristan McCafferty, Dale Wotton, Chelsea McCafferty and Jordon Harris; his great grandchildren, Levi, Lily Schaub, Wiley, Ohlin McCafferty, Taylor Wotton, Emery Colbath, Reagan and Parker Harris; his siblings, Virginia Haynes and Doug McCafferty; and his nephew Gary Walker. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
