She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerard Clavette and Lida Clavette; her husband Alban; her daughter Janelle Spence; her grandson Matthew; and her sister-in-law Doris Landry.
She is survived by: her son-in-law John Spence of Millinocket; her children, Louise, Peter Ingalls of St. Cloud, FL, Martin, Lynn Landry of Millinocket, Sylvia and Kevin Flanagan of Brunswick, ME; her grandchildren, Aaron Spence, Rachel Manzo, Christine Munns, Shawna Elkins, Ryan Flanagan, Michelle Landry and Alison DeMello; and her sisters, Anne Marie Pelletier, Joan Bishop and Fernande McLean. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church (19 Colby St, Millinocket, ME 04462-1595). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
A light lunch will be served in the basement of the church following Mass. Gifts in Bern's memory may be made to the Katahdin Area Support Group, 10 Field St., Millinocket, ME.
