It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Merrill Horne of Mexico, Maine, born in Rumford, Maine, who passed away on May 25, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren Merrill and Patricia Merrill (Bunnell); and her siblings, Shirley Walker, Preston Merrill (Jean) of Texas, Ricky Merrill of Greenwood, Jimmy Merrill (Stacy) of Albany and Mark Merrill of Bethel, ME.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jaclyn Bean of Mexico and Miranda Perry (William Perry, Jr.) of Mexico; her stepson Austin Horne (Kori) of Mexico; her sisters, Donna Lapham (Byron) of Albany, ME and Sonya Merrill of Randolph; her grandchildren, Hunter Bean, Dennis Buotte, Johnathan Buotte, Carson Horne and Evelyn Horne; her friends, Brenda Blaisdell, Alice Deegan and Sandy Wheeler; her mother-in-law Brenda Swan; and her sister-in-law Terry Hathaway.
