He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Hanson and Artie Hanson (Glidden); his son Benjamin Hanson, Jr.; his siblings, Fred, Gilbert, Velma, Mary and Clara; and his grandson Cory.
He is survived by: his close friend Elliott McLaughlin; his daughters, Laurie Hanson (Eric) of Montana and Kimberly Moore (Charles) of Georgia; his grandchildren, Emily, Samuel, Erica and Nicole; the mother of his children Linda Spaight of Connecticut; his sister June Wasson of Corinth; and also, Mason, Parker, Eva and Brynne. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
