He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Porter and Dorothy Porter (Foster); and his brother Rev. Nelson Cheney. He is survived by: his wife Sally Cheney of Connecticut; his sons, Douglas Cheney (Penny) and Christopher Cheney (Jennifer); his grandson Aric Cheney; and his great grandchildren, Celestina Marie Cheney and Immaculata Marie Cheney. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
