With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruth C. Verrill of Mechanic Falls, Maine, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 15, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold G. Lothrop and E. Viola Lothrop (Everett); her siblings, Earl Lothrop, Fred Lothrop and Arlene LeBlanc; and her husband Osmond Verrill.
She is survived by: her children, Steven Verrill (Susanne), Thomas Verrill (Lorrie) and Susan Jordan; her grandchildren, Jacob Verrill (Chrissy Lenahan), Kimberly Verrill, Lacy Rechisky (Ben), Jessica Bosse (Jeff) and Amy Matthews (Brad); her great grandchildren, Lucas, Riley Verrill, Gavin, Gabby Lenahan, Chloe, Sophie Bosse and Wyatt Rechisky; and her siblings, Louise Roberts, Diane Cordell, Nancy Pratt-Knowlton and Roger Lothrop (Katherine). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Chandler Funeral Homes & Cremation Service (26 W Dwinal St, Mechanic Falls, ME 04256). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
