It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Joan McCormick of Mechanic Falls, Maine, who passed away on February 15, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincent Von and Caroline Von; her husband Michael McCormick; her son Sean Timothy McCormick; and her siblings, Robert, Jim Von and Carol Von.
She is survived by: her children, Dan McCormick (Wanda) of Turner, Michelle McCormick of Anchorage, Patrick McCormick (Michele) of Myrtle Beach, Kevin McCormick (Helen) of Biddeford, Kelly McCormick (Ray Lamontagne) of Hebron and Terrence McCormick (Tina) of Turner, Maine; her niece Sharlene Hall of New York; and also Sharlene of Vietnam.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chandler Funeral Homes & Cremation Service (26 W Dwinal St, Mechanic Falls, ME 04256). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (24 Sacred Heart Pl, Auburn, ME 04210).
