He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl J. Emery and Olive Emery (Swallow); and his brothers, John, Leon and Norm.
He is survived by: his sisters, Evelyn, Millie, Flora, Ada and Pauline; his wife Sandra Emery (Dolan); his daughter Debbie Niskanen; his son-in-law Mark; his grandchildren, Bryan, Brent Niskanen and Melanie Jenkins (Roy); his great grandchildren, Caleb, Kaylee Niskanen and Brody Jenkins; and his brothers, Elin and Erland Emery.
