He was predeceased by: his siblings, Anna P. Thibideau (Dan), Patricia R. Dimillo (Nuzio), Norman W. Spellman, Janet E. Spellman and James F. Spellman; and his grandchildren, Christopher Gellerson and Jackson Duprey.
He is survived by: his spouse Lois A. Spellman (Higgins); his children, Kathryn J. Vance (Peter) of Bangor, James K. Spellman of Masardis, John D. Spellman of Bangor, Jacqulyn L. Williams (Peter) of Bangor and Christine A. Gellerson of Bangor; his grandchildren, Amy Hakola of Orono, Anna Gellerson of Bangor, Kathryn Wilcox (Spearing) of Bangor, Sarah Nida (Spearing), Michael Vance of Albany, NY., Amanda Clough (Vance) and Jonathan Martin (Mariah Cyr) of Bangor; his brother William K. Spellman of Bangor; his sister-in-law Marlene Spellman; and his nephew Jerry Dimillo (Annette) of Scarborough. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
