He was predeceased by: his mother Edna King Nichols; and his grandparents, Frank and Cora King of Bennington. He is survived by: his friend Sherman Moffitt; his children, Ed and Donna; his wife Rhonda Whalen; his children, Jeffrey, Matthew, Rebecca (Al Sebile), Heath (Jen), Amy (Eben Henderson) and Ethan (Leslie Hill Davidson); his stepchildren, Patrick "Casey" Shannon (Jackie), Jonathan Fellis (Sarah), Brittany Aspinwall (Jimmy) and Eric Edgecomb; his grandchildren, Michaela, Hunter, Elijah, Tanner, Matthew, Dustin, Emily, Lincoln, Heather, Stella, Anna, Maci, Clara, Beau, Madison, Jessica and Dustin O.; and his great grandchildren, Mariah and Declan. He is also survived by his sons and close friends.
