We bid farewell to Rowell A. McHatten Jr. (Mapleton, Maine), born in Presque Isle, Maine, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 16, 2025 at the age of 78. Rowell touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Rowell McHatten and Dorothy Chalifoux; his stepdaughters, Sandi Jean, Stacey Lynn, Australian Shepherd and Roo; his wife Sandra Fleming McHatten; his daughter Roxanne McHatten (Jason Gura); and his close friends, Gary Sharp, Fred Dobbs and Jim Fiske.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Mapleton Lion's Hall (1713 Main St, Mapleton, ME 04757).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you play a round of cribbage, enjoy a chocolate milkshake, or share a good joke in his honor.
