He was predeceased by : his parents, Shirley Kinney and Mildred Kinney (Tompkins); and his sister Opal Touchard. He is survived by : his wife Vicki Kinney (Hughes); his children, Roland Kinney of Mars Hill, Mathew Patterson and Rachel Debra Reyes of Newport News, VA; his granddaughter Holly Malone (Jamal) of Newport News, VA; his great grandchildren, Devina Malone and Elijah Malone; and his siblings, Shirlene Wheeler of Easton, Joy Kinney of Morristown, FL., Laurence Kinney (Sharon) of Glenburn, Robert Kinney (Plantation) and Carl Kinney (Celeste) of Independence, MO.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A graveside service was held on Sunday, June 23rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Worth Grendell Cemetery (773 Grendell Rd, Chapman, ME 04757).
