It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martin Robert Turner of Mapleton, Maine, who passed away on February 20, 2024, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Donald B. Turner and Gwendolyn Turner (West); his brother Donald "Butch" Turner; and his brother-in-law Boyd Roope. He is survived by : his children, Kimberly Hitchcock (James) of Mapleton, Molly Turner (Joe Long) of Mapleton and Ethan Turner of Presque Isle; and his sisters, Carol Soucy (Willie), Nancy Saucier (Jim), Annette Roope, Mary Michaud (Allen), Alice McQuade (Dana), Julie Holtham (Gary Guerette) and Marcia Hartt (Alton).
Instead of flowers the family is asking for donations to be made to the Mapleton Fire Department in his memory.
