It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lewis F. Lamont of Mapleton, Maine, born in Glassville, New Brunswick, who passed away on May 7, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Lamont and Marjorie Lamont (Brewer); his wife Clara Lamont (Rideout); his grandson Shawn Morin; his sister Marilyn Michot (Lamont); and his sister-in-law Sheila Lamont.
He is survived by: his brothers, Gary Lamont (Jennifer Green) and Brian (Debbie Lamont); his children, Peter (Carrie Lamont), Kathy (Walter Scott), Cindy (Edwin Johnson) and David Lamont; his grandchildren, Amanda (Jody Doughty), Joey Johnson (Alexandra Raynor), Jason Johnson and Jessica (Andrew Reyes); and his great grandchildren, Jensen, Braxton, Greysen, Kaylynn Doughty, Cassidy and Audrey Reyes. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
