It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jasper Umphrey (Mapleton, Maine), born in Washburn, Maine, who passed away on March 23, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth Umphrey (Betty) of Veteran's Home; his parents, Malcolm Umphrey and Mildred Umphrey (Duncan); his wife Betty Lavway; his siblings, Gary Umphrey (Kitty) and Virginia (John McEvoy); his son Paul Jasper; his great grandchild Taylor Darveau; his grandson Michael Garvin Umphrey; and his great great grandchild Rosalva Delbert McKenna.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Isaac (Lynn) and Hollie Jayne; his pet Lilly; his granddaughter Heather Umphrey; his great grandchild Caleb (Nathaly); his children, Cameron and Macey (Shawn Dow); his grandchild Allie May Ruth Dow; his children, Abbie Currier, Benjamin Currier and Mackenzie McKenna (Matthew McKenna); his grandson Angus Ross McKenna; his daughter Grace Kinney (Keagan); his grandson Maverick Ralph Kinney; his children, Lila and Samuel; his granddaughter Amanda Johnston Umphrey (Adam Pratt); his daughter Emma Johnston (Colby Hewitt); his granddaughters, Madelyn Johnston and Shelly Solomon (Greg); his great grandchildren, Sydney, Justin and Christina Darveau (Corey); his son Jordan Fogg (Logan); his grandson Mason Taylor Fogg; his children, Devin Darveau and Nevaeh; his grandson Marc Garvin Umphrey; his son Caleb; and also Chelsea Eldridge (Vance).
