He was predeceased by: his parents, Forest H. Chandler and Gladys P. Chandler (Smith); his sister Emilie Lovley (Carl); his mother-in-law Margaret Tompkins; and his siblings-in-law, Dianne Brushett, William and Franklin Tompkins.
He is survived by: his sister Emilie C. Chandler; his wife Marilyn Alice Tompkins; his sons, David and Darren Chandler; his grandchildren, Zachery, Joshua, Hunter and Parker; his brother Donald W. Chandler (Alice); his siblings-in-law, Wayne Tompkins, Ruth Giberson (Linwood) and Edith Tompkins; and his close friend Harold Haines Jr.. He is also survived by twenty-seven nieces and nephews.
