He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac Smith and Mary Smith (Rodrigue); his wife Bonnie Smith (Alexander); and his siblings, Frances Griffin, Dianne Meservey, Stanley Smith, Danny Smith and Teddy Smith.
He is survived by: his daughters, Annette and Monica; his granddaughters, Megan, Christina, Samantha, Mahryn, Amanda and Cynthia; his great grandchildren, Samuel, Claire, Maliya, Amilya and Shaniya; and his siblings, Joan O'Ben and David Smith.
