He was predeceased by: his former wife Barbara Randlette Sousa; his grandson Eric Sousa; his sister Loretta Bachelder; and his niece Jeannie Norton. He is survived by: his wife Sonja Granat Sousa of Higganum; his son David Sousa (Rosemary) of Ivoryton; his grandson Michael Sousa of Coventry; and also, Tanja Moriarty of Higganum, Brenda Buzzi of Higganum, Edward Buzzi of McLean, Andrew Buzzi of Higganum, Tina LaJoie, Roger Bachelder, Edward Bachelder and Donna Moore.
