She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Grant and Dorothy Grant; her mother-in-law Lillian Ballard; her brother Fred Grant; her siblings-in-law, Donna Grant and Thomas Anderson; and her niece Maureen Whitman.
She is survived by: her husband Ken Ballard, Jr.; her sons, Jeff Ballard (Julie) of Canandaigua, NY, Todd Ballard of Manchester and Jason Ballard (Heidi) of Readfield; her brother Robert Grant (Jenny Meyers) of West Gardiner; her sister-in-law Martha Anderson of Smithtown, NY; and her grandchildren, Kate Murphy (Nate) of Canandaigua, NY, Kenneth Ballard (Melissa) of North Wales, PA, Keegen Ballard (Alisha) of Augusta, Eben Ballard of Winthrop, Maddie Ballard of Readfield and Reece Daniels of Readfield. She is also survived by sons, and especially loved her role as Nanny Ballard to six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
