She was predeceased by: her parents, Norrise Deering and Nellie Deering (Noble); her son Devin Whittemore; her granddaughter Tori Whittemore; and her great grandchild Jovi Schinzel.
She is survived by: her husband David L. Whittemore; her sons, David Jr. "Buddy", Duane (Jackie McLaughlin) and Deron; and her sister Sue. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
