He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert J. Cyr and Elsie Cyr (Levesque); and his sister Linda C. Speed. He is survived by: his daughter Erica Koch (Nick) of Litchfield, Maine; his grandson John Edward Koch of Litchfield, Maine; and his sisters, Lorraine Cyr (Claude Blanchette) of Madawaska, Nancy Bourgoin (Gaetan) of Madawaska, Judy Tardif (Jean-Guy) of St. Agatha and Sharon Cyr (Daniel Plourde) of Madawaska. He is also survived by one niece and five nephews.
