He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Vaillancourt and Rose Vaillancourt; his wife Cecile Vaillancourt; and his siblings, Jerry and Kate.
He is survived by: his son Jesse J. Vaillancourt (Tracy Beaulieu) of Madawaska; his grandson J. J. Vaillancourt of Madawaska; and his sister Nancy Raymond (Lawrence) of Madawaska. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
