He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Lavertu and Winnie Lavertu (Caron); his wife Marcelle Lavertu (Albert); and his siblings, Norman, Lucien, Manus, Pauline and Yvette.
He is survived by: his children, Marlene Pono (Joe) of Bath and Steven Lavertu (Dian) of St. Andre; his grandchildren, Elyse, Anthony, Jared, Sonia and Amy; his great grandchildren, Odin and Carter; and his siblings, Elmer, Dorothy, Bernice and Viola. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
