He is survived by: his children, Tammy Sirois (Philip) of St. Agatha and Todd Deschaine (Shawna) of Madawaska; his siblings, Dick Deschenes, Roger Dechaine, Michael Dechaine, June Dechaine, Diane Daigle and Terry Lagasse; his grandchildren, Dereck Dionne, Jaymes Wing, Reagan White and Delaney Deschaine; and his great grandchildren, Abram, Adrienne and Romeo. He is also survived by several step grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
