He was predeceased by: his brothers, Oneil Cyr Jr. and Eldon Cyr. He is survived by: his wife Claudette Cyr of Madawaska; his brother Herman Cyr (Jackie Lynn) of St. David; his sisters-in-law, Alice Cyr (Bosse) and Therese Cyr (Ouellette); and his nieces and nephews, Glen Cyr (Marci), Sandra Cyr, Diane Carol Cyr, Donna Carlin (Cyr), Alan Cyr and Bonnie Lyford (Cyr). He is also survived by many extended family and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Cancer Society, to a charity that benefits a spinal injuries or treatment, or to a local charity of one's choice.
