With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Clifford J. Gagnon of Madawaska, Maine, born in Wallagrass, Maine, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 29, 2024 at the age of 83. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Clifford leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Clifford may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeffrey Gagnon and Agathe Gagnon (Plourde); and his siblings, Gerald Gagnon and Lena Babin. He is survived by: his children, Allan Gagnon (Julie) of Connecticut, Gary Gagnon of Frenchville, Sherry Buhler (Kevin) of New Hampshire and Laurean Cook-Clemmons (Bernard) of Tennessee; and his sisters, Charlene Theriault of St. Agatha, Geraldine Ling (Carolina) of So and Arlene Rossignol of Van Buren. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Lajoie Funeral Home (114 10th Ave, Madawaska, ME 04756). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church (337 St Thomas St, Madawaska, ME 04756).
