He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeffrey Gagnon and Agathe Gagnon (Plourde); and his siblings, Gerald Gagnon and Lena Babin. He is survived by: his children, Allan Gagnon (Julie) of Connecticut, Gary Gagnon of Frenchville, Sherry Buhler (Kevin) of New Hampshire and Laurean Cook-Clemmons (Bernard) of Tennessee; and his sisters, Charlene Theriault of St. Agatha, Geraldine Ling (Carolina) of So and Arlene Rossignol of Van Buren. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren.
