Lewis "Luke" Elliot Wood Jr, 61, passed after a long illness on February 7, 2023 at a Machias hospital. He was born September 27, 1961 in Machias the son of the late Nancy Reeves and Lewis Elliott Wood Sr.

He enjoyed hunting with his son, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years Louisa (Landeen) ; a daughter Kandi House and her sons John and Russell House ; a son Brandon Wood, his wife Shelby "Wilma"and their children Brandon Jr, Blaze, and a special granddaughter Bailey; a sister Irene Cox and her husband Paul ; a special niece Heidi Houghton, and many other nieces, nephews, and cousins ; a brother-in-law Dale Landeen and a sister-in-law Rita ; and his beloved dog Rosy.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a special brother-in-law Joe Berry; mother-in-law and father-in-law Mavis and Harold Landeen.

Graveside services will be announced in the spring.
