She was predeceased by: her parents, James McLaughlin and Georgie McLaughlin (Thompson); her husband Gerald "Woody" Woodruff; her brother Lee McLaughlin; and her son-in-law Michael A. Riggs.
She is survived by: her former husband James "Jimmy" McPherson; her children, Michele Riggs of Whiting, Scott McPherson of Whiting and Steven McPherson (Denise) of Pembroke; her grandchildren, Tabitha Parsons (Chad) of Whiting, Michael Riggs (Kate) of Naples, Breanne Holloway (Terrence) of Glenburn, Savannah McPherson of Lubec, Shayn McPherson (Jamie) of Cutler, Jonathan McPherson (Sarah) of Brunswick and Megan Drost (Corey) of Dedham; her sisters, Ruth Kennedy of Bangor and Alta Greenslade of Ardmore, OK; her daughter-in-law Shelly McPherson; and the father of her children James McPherson of Gallipolis Ferry, WV. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
