He is survived by: his fiancée Lauretta Doyle; his siblings, Thomas McLaughlin (Roseanne) of Lovell, ME, Eugene McLaughlin of Fryeburg, ME, Kathryn Lind of Quincy, MA, Elaine Callahan (Brian) of York, ME, Mary Anne McLaughlin of Bethlehem, CT and Jane Richard (Jim) of Kingston, NH; his children, Julie McLaughlin and Paul McLaughlin, Jr. (Julie); his grandsons, Paul III, Michael and John; his children, Aimee Cambray and Kevin McLaughlin (Daniela); his grandchildren, Anabela and Alexia; and his children, David McLaughlin, Matthew McLaughlin and Aidan McLaughlin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers Paul would say to buy food or gas or something else more practical for someone in need.
