It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John F. Newman Jr. of Livermore, Maine, born in Owls Head, Maine, who passed away on March 29, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Newman, Sr. and Gladys Newman (Thrull); and his siblings, Joseph, Paul, Peter and Ellen.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Newman of Livermore; his children, John "Rocky" Newman (Mary) of Leeds, Rodney Newman (Brenda) of Livermore and Jill Cyrway (Scott) of Albion; his stepchildren, Katherine Heikkinen (Stephen) of South Paris and Kevin Poland (Cathleen) of Lewiston; and his sisters, Laura, Nancy, Jean, Joan and Mary. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren 7 great-grandchildren.
