He was predeceased by: his mother Elaine C. House Smith (House); his grandparents, Floyd, Nina Byron, Clayton and Marcia House; and his father-in-law James Oldroyd.
He is survived by: his father Glenn D. Byron (Toni) of Smithfield; his wife Amy Byron of Livermore; his children, Kimberly Benoit (Jonathan) of Livermore, Jennifer Byron (Jason Spack) of Windham and Eric J. Byron (Sheinalee) of Livermore; his stepsiblings, Rhonda Cain (A. J.) of Vassalboro, Ricki Smith (Janelle) of Connecticut and Steve Gilbert (Anne) of Kittery; his grandson Clayton Benoit of Livermore; his mother-in-law Sada Oldroyd of Owls Head; and his siblings-in-law, James Oldroyd (Lynnette) of Warren and Andrea Wilcox (Shawn) of Warren. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
