She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Castonguay and Odolie Castonguay (Brochu); her son Litle Larry; her husband Larry Blouin, Sr.; her son Larry Blouin, Jr.; and her siblings, Gerard, Richard, Robert, David Castonguay and Noella DeSantis.
She is survived by: her godson Adam Castonguay (Katie); her granddaughters, Emily and Ryleigh Castonguay; her siblings, Jean Castonguay (Susan) of Livermore Falls, Marie Simoneau (Emilie) of Chesterville and Alice Legere (Phillip) of Tennessee; her nephew Howard Castonguay of Portland; and her nieces, Denise Leath (Lahey) of Tennessee, Shannon Drury (Blouin) of Madison, Kathleen Buckingham and Gail Kennedy.
Simone made and donated wreaths for local fundraisers, and was a generous supporter of St. Jude Children's Hospital, as well the Gorham Fire Department in memory of her son.
