It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marguerite Mary Slovak (Livermore Falls, Maine), who passed away on January 1, 2019, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rosaire Couture and Anaise Couture (Shink); her husband Frank J. Slovak; her daughter Janine Spencer; her son-in-law Brian Spencer; her great grandchild Michael Holland; and her siblings, Toussainte, Emmanuel, Placide, Aurelien, Athanase Couture, Ange Marie Couture, Cecile Dupont, Blanche Bilodeau, Carmel Garneau and Marie Martha Couture.

She is survived by: her children, Joyce Roma (Patrick) of Newry and Ronald Slovak (Barbara) of Pawtucket, R. I.; her grandchildren, Nicholas, Matthew Roma, Kristen Nichols (Scott, Derek Slovak), Hannah, Jennifer Henriquez (Ryan, Deborah Roberts), Robin and Donna Spencer; her great grandchildren, Camden Nichols, Lyla, Liam, Kyle Slovak, Harlow Henriquez, Ronald Holland (Jasmine, Alex Spencer) and Nina; her great great grandchild Nicholas Spencer; her siblings, Gilles Couture (Anita), Muriel Desjardins, Georgette Sutton, Grace Hodge and Patricia Couture; and her sister-in-law Jeannette Couture. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
