He is survived by: his children, Jackie Mitchell of Livermore, Marilyn Mitchell Stevens of Hartford and James Mitchell of Livermore; his granddaughter Tanya Mitchell Begin; his great grandchildren, Dylan Drake and Leeah "Jack" Volterman; and his sister Winneford Belleview of Auburn.
