Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Claire leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Gervais and Yolande Gervais (Dumais). She is survived by: her husband Gerald Deshaies of Jay; her daughters, Debra (Bill) of Littleton, Margaret "Peggie" Wills (Rick) of Livermore and Barbara Burnell (Eugene) of Jay; and her brother Richard Gervais (Helen) of Myrtle Beach. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Rose of Lima Church (1 Church St, Jay, ME 04239). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Andwell Health Care, 15 Strawberry Avenue, Lewiston, Maine.
