He was predeceased by: his father Mykola Stepanec. He is survived by: his mother Genevieve Stepanec (Tylka); his wife Jane Stepanec (Krapf); his son Timothy Stepanec; his grandchildren, Robert W. Donath, Thomas Donath, Eliza Donath, Desirae Donath and Faith Stepanec; and his sisters, Ellie Marcello (John) and Lucy Sokolsky (Orest). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
