He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Benjamin Thornton and Ethel-Eva Thornton (Bailey); his wife Ardean Thornton (Priest); his son Brian Thornton; his daughter-in-law Cathy; his daughter Brenda Brehaut; his grandchildren, Brad Libby, Ty Brehaut (Courtney), Betheny Proctor (Travis), Tristen Brehaut (Amanda), Kristin Thornton, Casey Thornton, Crystal McGuire (Joey) and Donald McLain (Courtney); his great grandchildren, Zachary, Elliot Brehaut, Addison Libby, Hunter, Hudson Proctor, Wyatt Brehaut, Donald Jr., Quinn McLain, Aurora and Beau McGuire; his son-in-law Stanley Brehaut; his great grandchild Caddis Grace McGuire; and his brother Richard Thornton. He was also cherished by his two nieces and one nephew.
