Joan K. Sturgeon Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joan K. Sturgeon of Lincoln, Maine, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 25, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dallas Hanscomb Knights and Joseph W. Knights; and her sister Naomi (Carl). She is survived by: her husband Lawrence "Bing" Sturgeon; her children, Linda Lombard (John) and Russell "Rusty" Sturgeon (Linda); her grandchildren, John Russell "Keep" Lombard (Debbie), Joe Sturgeon (Loretta), Grant Lombard and Paige Sturgeon (Andrew); and her great grandchild Kellan Sturgeon.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bowers Funeral Home (7 Lee St, Lincoln, ME 04457). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
