With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hervey E. Clay (Lincoln, Maine), who passed away on November 28, 2022 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilber Clay and Letitia Clay (Smith); his former wife Sherry Clay (Thurlow); and also, Willmont and Jean Thurlow (Harris).
He is survived by: his wife Jane Edgecomb-Clay (Lindsay) of Lincoln; his children, Vicki Clay (Benjamin Meiklejohn), Stephen Clay, Katie Clay (Robert Tomilson) and Samuel Clay (Rebecca); his grandchildren, Brianne Libby, Emily McCormick-Libby (Sara), Adam Libby, Brandon Wardwell, Jonathan, Elizabeth and Ariel Clay; his great grandchildren, Piper and Poppy McCormick-Libby; and his sister Kathleen Clifford (Dale). He is also survived by several brothers-in law and sisters-in law and many nieces and nephews.
