He is survived by: his wife Gudrun Nier; his daughters, Diana Hildegard Howard, Dina Angela (Mark Call) of Cornish and Renee Michelle (Jason Roy) of Cornish; his siblings, Dolores Harmon, Wayne Howard, Sandra Devine and Donna Howard; his siblings-in-law, Erich Nier, Edward Harmon, Roger Devine, Edward DeWitt and Cheryl Howard; his daughter Melinda Singleton (Tharail Singleton) of Limington; his grandchildren, Brandon Harmon (Stephanie McDonough) of Portland, Jensyn Harmon (Shane Caron) of Waterboro, Chloe Roy (Logan Roy) and Myranda Whitney of Parsonsfield; his great grandchildren, Bronson Harmon, Bentleigh Harmon and Braxton Harmon; and his sisters, Elaine DeWitt of Limington and Gail DiBiase (Frankie) of Portland.

Even with dementia and Alzheimer's he always worried about feeding and taking care of the kids.
