It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Simon Bernier (Limestone, Maine), born in Caswell, Maine, who passed away on September 22, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Bernier and Virginia Bernier (Curless); his wife Idolande M. Bernier (Beaulieu); his siblings, James, Herman Bernier, Geraldine Bicknell and Linda Cross; and his daughter-in-law Linda Labbe Bernier.
He is survived by: his close friend Beatrice Spinney of Limestone; his children, Brent Bernier (Cindy) of Caribou, Beverly (Conrad Edgecomb) and Peggy (George Burgoyne); and his siblings, Mitchell (Gaye Bernier), Stewart (Rowena Bernier), Vincent (Kathy Bernier), Conrad (Louise Bernier) and Lucille Bell of Limestone. He is also survived by four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions on gatherings, calling hours will be private, however friends are invited to join the family for a graveside service on Friday, September 25, 2020 at 1:00 p. m. at St Louis Catholic Cemetery, Limestone.
