He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Jr. Blackwell and Esther Blackwell (Thompson); and his sister Leila. He is survived by: his daughters, Nenita and Tabatha Blackwell of Texas; his siblings, Dwayne Blackwell of Limestone, Diane Larkin, Debbie Appleton and Julie Bloom; and his grandchildren, Damian and Hailee.
Due to concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, private services will be held by the family.
