He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Norton and Ethel Norton (Phelps); and his siblings, Joseph, Michael, Christopher, Robert and Doris.
He is survived by: his sister Cathy; his wife Diane Norton (Barton) of Limestone, ME; his children, Jason R. Barton, Joseph M. Norton and Kayla Caron (Keith); his granddaughter Addisyn Caron of Chapman, ME; and his sisters, Pat Holman (Ken) of Galena, IL, Mary Norton, Nina Hackman (Harry), Catherine Simkins, Debra Cassens (Scott) and Dorothy Olsen (Gary). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
