With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Peter Doebener of Limestone, Maine, born in Middletown, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 19, 2024 at the age of 88. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence D. Doebener and Henrietta B. Doebener (Hodge); his son Peter Doebener II; and his siblings, Roy Doebener and Margaret Schmitz.
He is survived by: his wife Jo-An Doebener (Greene) of Limestone; his daughter Judith; his son-in-law Louis Niedbalski of Cheyenne, WY; his sons, Paul (Deborah Doebener), James (Nichole Doebener) and Gary (Vicki Doebener); his daughter-in-law Camille Doebener of Caribou; his grandchildren, Therron Nichols of Presque Isle, Shawn Nichols of Windham, Jason Niedbalski of Casper, WY, Aimee Watts of Perham, Maria Caperotta of Cheyenne, WY, Taylor Doebener of Denver, CO and Jacob Doebener of Limestone; and his great grandchild Harry Nichols of Windham. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
