We are sad to announce that on January 3, 2025, at the age of 95, Neal Harry Leighton Jr. of Limestone, Maine passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Neal Leighton and Carrie Jane Leighton; his son Neal Harry Leighton, III; and his siblings, James Leighton, Alene Thompson and Shirley Orr.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Arlene; and his children, Carla Hudson (Donald), Della Leighton-Shaw, Chuck Shoaff (Lisa), Stephen Leighton (Claudette Bell), Jeffrey Leighton (Robin), Jim Leighton (Debi), David Leighton (Tina) and Steven. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Neal's memory to Aroostook House of Comfort, (P.O. Box 867, Presque Isle, ME 04769).
