She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hamilton and Maude Hamilton (Smith); her husband Francis R. Carroll Sr.; and her siblings, Phyllis Gilpatrick, Lloyd Hamilton and Donald Hamilton.

She is survived by: her children, Deborah Ann Furlong (Patrick) of California, Donna C. Welch (Albert III), Francis R. Carroll II (Katherine) of Limerick, Denise L. Benton (Timothy) of Limerick, Michael P. Carroll (Maureen) of Limerick and Kathleen S. Colby (Steven) of Limerick; and her siblings-in-law, Dolores Carroll of Limerick, Martha Hamilton Smith of Limerick and Ronald Carroll of Brunswick. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces.

In lieu of flowers, donations may made to the Baptist Society Church in Limerick for their renovation fund.
