He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy M. Welch Sr. and Vivian E. Cochran Welch; his siblings, Laurilyn Sabin, Benjamin and Edward Welch; his niece Jennifer Welch; and his nephew Jody Welch.
He is survived by: his daughters, Robin Doray (Frank) of Maine, Dorinda Oakes (Linwood) of Kentucky and Angela Welch of Kentucky; his grandchildren, Andrew Oakes (Francesca) of Kentucky, Linwood Oaks III of Kentucky, Laurilyn Doucette (Nick) of Maine, Felicia Oakes of Kentucky, Jennifer Tardif (Benjamen Thomas Maine) and Charles Doray of Massachusetts; his great grandchildren, Hayden, Peter, Carter Oakes of Kentucky, Eva, Joseph, Anthony Doucette of Maine, Roy, Tabatha and Gordon Thomas of Maine; his brothers, Carlton Welch of Maine and Donald Welch of Maine; and his aunt Brenda Laflin of Maine.
